Free Embroidery Designs For Brother Machines

Finding free embroidery designs can be tricky – especially if you don’t know anything about embroidery machine file formats! However, the good news is, Brother machines are top of the heap for home embroidery and that means there are LOTS of great designs for them.

What embroidery file format do Brother embroidery machines use?

Brother embroidery machines use the PES file format. So, make sure if you purchase or download any free embroidery designs that this file type is included! We’ve curated a list of free designs for you below that you can use too – all of which have PES files.

Free PES Designs At Creative Fabrica

Creative Fabrica is a GREAT site to get all kinds of downloadables, including free Brother machine embroidery designs. They have hundreds of free designs from multiple designers, which also rotate, so there is always something new.

Each download page will tell you what formats are available, but pretty much all designs will come with PES format for Brother machines, AND in multiple sizes usually too! The screenshot above shows a few examples of their freebies.
