The climate zone you live in has a big impact on your BTU usage. For example, if you live in Minnesota, you’re going to need a lot more than if you live in Florida!

- Zone 2: 52,500 BTU
- Zone 3: 60,000 BTU
- Zone 4: 67,500 BTU
- Zone 5: 75,000 BTU
- Zone 6: 82,500 BTU
- Zone 7: 90,000 BTU
In closing, there’s a big, big difference in BTU needs depending on your zone! So, make sure you get it right when you’re doing your estimating.
