5 fabric quilts, often called 5 yard quilts, offer an awesome opportunity to get rid of fabrics which you may have scraps of laying around. While you can, of course, pick up new fabric, it’s kind of fun to go through your stash and turn a yard of this or a yard of that into a handsome quilt.
Tip: Using at least one print fabric makes for a really impressive quilt! It’s also great for gifts, because you can incorporate a fun animal, fishing, or other kind of print which could be hard to use otherwise.
