Creative Fabrica
Creative Fabrica is one of my favorite places on the internet to get digital crafting materials! Not only do they have over 1,000+ free machine embroidery designs, but they’ve also got some free applique patterns for embroidery machines too!
Above you can see a couple samples of their designs, which include this cute witch hat and umbrella. But, they have a few more applique designs you can get for free as well. Not to mention their cool subscription program which lets you download all the designs you want for $4.99 a month!
You can also get 10 premium designs for free just by getting a free trial. So, definitely pick up some stuff from that even if you don’t want to keep the subscription on a monthly basis!

EmbroideryDesigns.com has lots of great free designs you can download, and they also have around 80 free machine embroidery appliques! Their free designs range from baby embroidery appliques to holiday designs, and you’ll be able to get some nice stuff here.

This site has about 11 or 12 pages of applique freebies you can get. However, it seems hard to sort and some of the paid ones are mixed in with the freebies.
