RRF Seasonal Yarn Collection- 2012 Limited Collection
Introducing our Seasonal Yarn Collection ...
On a woodland farm in Mid-coast Maine, a flock of sheep and Angora goats dwell together. Their faces and fleeces are diverse in texture and color.
Long wools, down wools and mohair grow through four seasons -strong, and nourished by the beautiful Maine air and sunshine.
Annual shearing's are divided and spun by length & texture.
Blends of Romney, Border Leicester and Mohair create our signature Farm Blend, while Southdown, Corriedale and Romney/Corriedale-cross blends are combined with locally sourced Alpaca.
Our yarns are New England spun in woolen and worsted methods, & hand-dyed using Maine-made dyes.
The resulting yarns represent our flock -together.
On September, October and November 1st, Romney Ridge Farm Yarn Co. will release a limited number of our new monthly YARN COLLECTIONS - 3 collections total. After a sign ups are announced, YARN COLLECTIONS will ship 30 days later on the first of each month.
Each shipment will include:
- Two or more skeins of our seasonal yarns.
- One or more patterns designed exclusively for our YARN COLLECTION.
- Needed embellishments.
- And some exciting Romney Ridge Farm Yarn Co. "schwag".
